Moonlight Movies is a fun, family event! Bring a blanket, a chair or both and enjoy the night time breeze while watching a movie at our Bandshell in gorgeous Hernando Park! The event is FREE to the public and includes FREE downtown parking and the opportunity to stroll throughout downtown enjoying restaurants, merchants, and retail stores!
But the magic starts before the movie! Get ready for delicious pre-movie festivities with our fantastic local DJ Shalamar, including themed activities, local food vendors, and fun surprises for everyone!
Arrive early to take part in the exciting Golden Ticket Hunt, where lucky winners will snag special prizes!
Other sweet activities include a Candy-dash relay, a Wonka-Inspired Costume Contest (dress up as Willy Wonka or your favorite Oompa Loompa!), a Candy Jar Guessing Game, and a few more surprise treats!
And that's not all! We'll also be hosting a backpack & school supply giveaway generously sponsored by DJ Shalamar!

Chocolate River Relay: A fun relay race where participants balance "candy" on spoons as they navigate a course.
Costume Contest: Participants can dress up for a costume contest as either an Oompa Loompa or Wonka himself!
