Downtown Trick or Treating doesn’t get better than this! Once again, Brooksville Main Street is partnering with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Offices Safety Fun Fest to bring the ultimate family fun fest! This year’s event is Saturday, October 24th, 2026 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Downtown Brooksville!   

This free fun, educational event will showcase all of Hernando County’s first responders from deputy sheriffs and troopers to firefighters and other emergency medical personnel.

There will be trick or treating throughout downtown as well as cool music, Adult, Children, and Pet costume contests, arts & crafts vendors, face painting, food trucks, a Touch-A-Truck event and so much more.
